Charan Refused Agneepath Remake Film

Reports of Karan Johar's Agneepath being remade in Telugu did the rounds recently before dying down. It is learnt that they weren't empty gossip. Apparently Karan Johar had evinced interest in casting Ram Charan in the Telugu remake of Agneepath. However, Ram Charan advised Karan against it. His contention was that revenge sagas are done to death in Tollywood.

"I just felt that revenge drama format is nothing new to our audience, it's been done a lot. However, we have decided to work on a movie together. Hopefully it will happen soon," says Ram Charan. Well that will be something to look forward to.

Sources close to the actor say that Ram Charan could be working in his next Bollywood venture. We will have to wait and see, but for now though the actor has plenty to look forward this summer as two of his releases, Zanjeer and Yevadu are set to release.
