Allari Naresh and Sharmila Maandrey are playing the lead pair in a film titled 'Kevvu Keka'. 'Blade Babji' fame Devi Prasad is the director. Boppana Chandra Sekhar produces and Smt. Neelima presents the film under Jahnavi Productions banner.

The film has completed a big schedule in Bangkok recently and the shooting in Hyderabad currently. A  press meet has been arranged in Hyderabad and the team has attended it.

The director says," This is a full comedy entertainer. The comedy in the movie will be a bit higher than 'Blade Babji '. In my opinion, comedy script means a beautiful story. We all are working as a family enjoying. We have recently completed the schedules in Pollachi and Bangkok. The current schedule will be completed by 6th of next month and the shooting will be totally completed by then. We have targeted only to entertain the audience. The producers have not compromised any bit. We are planning to release the movie in May and audience should decide how the movie is".

Naresh said, " The team which worked for 'Yevadigola Vadidhi' are in this movie.  We have been working for this movie enjoying so much. The director is making this movie very entertainingly. The title is very apt for this movie. This movie will become a hit in the range of 'Kevvu Keka' song in Gabbar singh and I hope it will be a hit more than 'Sudigadu'.The music is very good and I am sure this will become the best album in my recent movies".

Sharmila said that this is her first film and she is looking forward to act in more telugu movies by acting in this movie.

The producer says," This film is a complete entertainer in the combination of Naresh and Devi Prasad after 'Blade Babji'. The director is  making this film with elements that attracts all the classes of audience".

Allari Naresh and Devi Prasad previously worked together in 2008 successful film Blade Babji.
Initial news of the film and the title were reported on July 22, 2012. On the same day,
Naresh through his Twitter account confirmed that his next project would be with Devi Prasad and that the film was titled Kevvu Keka.
It was also reported that the film would be officially launched on July 25, 2012. On July 25,
 the launch event was organized at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad and was attended by Akkineni Nageswara Rao as chief guest.
The muhurat shot was filmed and a press meet was held revealing the additional details about the project.
It was announced that the popular writer Satish Vegesna, who previously collaborated with Naresh for several films would handle the dialogues
 and script of the film.It was announced that both Devi Prasad and Satish Vegesna has worked for over three years on the film script and
 Gutti Madhu would act as script coordinator for the film.
 It was also announced that cinematography would be handled by Vijay Kumar
and the music would be composed collaboratively
 by two music composers: Bheems and Chinni Charan. During the press meet,
 it was revealed that the film would be released in 2013 and would star a new heroine opposite Naresh.
 The film title was inspired by a song from the 2012 film Gabbar Singh. On October 3, reports emerged that Kannada actress Sharmila Mandre was
cast as heroine in the film, this was later confirmed by her in an interview. This would be her debut film in Tollywood.
Filming

The regular filming began on October 3, 2012 in Hyderabad.
 It was also announced that the major part of filming would be done in Hyderabad and Bangkok.
A press note was released by the producers announcing the entire film schedule. It was announced that the first schedule of
 filming would take place from November 1, 2012 to November 15, 2012 in the surroundings of Hyderabad. The second schedule
would take place from December 5, 2012 to December 20, 2012. The last and final schedule would take place in Bangkok from January 15, 2013
to February 12, 2013 with which the filming would be wrapped.
